Em is for Mumma

Hello!

My name is Emily; I am 30 years old and married with one, five year old boy called Buddy. Isn’t he just the spitting image of his dad?

Steve and I have been married for almost eight years although it feels like a lifetime already! Despite never getting any time to ourselves, the daily stresses of life and annoying the heck out of each other, we make our marriage work pretty well and seem to (luckily) balance each other out.

I work in administration but being made redundant next month and Steve owns his own painting and decorating company after leaving the British Army five years ago. I’m planning on taking a little time out when this job is over as I’m pretty sure that all my aging has happened in the last five years between work and Buddy!

I’m hoping to use this platform to talk about parenting, life in general, food, books and my biggest hobby; planning. I use an Erin Condren, bullet journal and sometimes an A5 Filofax in case you were wondering! I love writing and its something I always like to try and improve on when I have the time.
